Orthotic Evaluations

An orthotic is a support, brace or splint used to better align and correct the function of the foot. They are used to improve movement and function, stabilize and support, and in some cases, relieve pain. Our orthotic evaluations are conducted by a highly specialized physical therapist and an orthotist. Our team is equipped with the abilities to appropriately evaluate the need for orthotics by measuring range of motion, watching the child walk, addressing any pain, and evaluating strength. Common conditions requiring orthotics include but aren’t limited to scoliosis, back pain, toe walking, flat floot, foot pain, and hip dysplasia.
